Helping Researchers Reconstruct Human History
Researchers at the Australian Centre for Ancient DNA (ACAD) at Adelaide University are using AARNet’s FileSender, a secure service for transferring very large files, to share genomic datasets with research partners in Australia and around the world.

Their research includes work on bison adaptation, human demographic history and dingo genome diversity in Australia. With samples often irreplaceable, FileSender enables the team to use simple Python scripts to transfer large datasets directly from remote servers, supporting fast and reliable collaboration.
