Off to Sydney for Educause Conference & a couple of days' holiday.
Saturday, 2-Apr-2011:
We stayed in a cheaper hotel for the first 2 nights, and relied on public transport to get about (eg ferries, which were really cheap with our seniors cards).
Here are the "mandatory" pics of the coathanger and Opera House, from a ferry, followed by a visit to the War Memorial. Later we took in the play, In the Next Room, at the Opera House.
We then took the train out to (and then beyond) Burwood, where I had boarded with Aunty Eileen and Uncle Stan while I worked on the 1966 census in the city. Here's the house they had.
We also hired a car on Sunday, 3-Apr-11, and visited some of the places we went to in 1966, and also attended a service at Hillsong, Baulkham Hills, in the morning.

The Conference ran from Monday to Wednesday. Here's the closing Plenary on Wednesday, 6-Apr, after which we flew back to Perth.
